This is Kristen and Meghan here! Today is our sixth day of Mission: Mexico.
We have been very busy and haven't had much down time at all! Between planning and helping with VBS, visiting a children's home, painting, devotionals, worship times, eating, and sleeping (more so for Kristen), we haven't had much time to cool down! It's extremely hot, and we are all sweating up a storm. Today it is going to up to 39 degrees, feeling like 45 degrees. The heat is not anything we're used to, but we're all holding up and haven't sun burned yet (even Meghan). Everyone is still healthy (again, even Meghan, minus the headaches) which is good!
It's been a great trip so far, filled with God's love and grace. God has shown all of us through this trip the need world wide and made us realize the need close to home. It's been a great experience and we are all very thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this team. God has proved to be extremely apparent through our journey to Hermosillo. He has kept us all alive and well and full of energy to last us throughout our long days. Although there is a huge language barrier between us Canadians and the Mexican kids, we have been able (with God) to connect with them and build relationships with them.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We are really feeling the love from back home. We can't wait to tell all of you our stories when we return! Thanks again, and Dios le bendiga! (God bless you)

Buenas Tardes a Todos. It has been interesting to follow your blog and to witness the good work that you are doing with the children, both in the church and at the orphanage. They will all benefit from your loving ministry, but you will be blessed immeasurably and way beyond what you have given to them. Continue on!
